Keloids are scars which have grown excessively. They are common on the chest and back, and can also occur on other body parts, commonly the ear lobes. They can be painful and very itchy, but we can inject them with an anti-inflammatory medication to decrease their size.

Warts are common tough, grainy bumps that can occur on the hands or feet. They are caused by a virus that is contagious and passed around by touch. At Dermatology Arts, we typically treat warts with and combination of cryotherapy and wart creams to use at home. But for children who may not tolerate cryotherapy as well, we also have alternative treatments.

Excessive sweating, also known as hyperhidrosis, is a condition where people have abnormal amounts of sweating that is not necessarily related to heat or exercise. Yes! Dr. Casey Carlos and Liz Schuringa, ARNP offer telehealth appointments, but they are only available for Returning Patients. You can schedule a telehealth appointment on our scheduling page or by calling 425-753-2918.

If you do not speak English, not to worry! We work with phone interpreters who can interpret for any language. Please call ahead to let us know what language you need interpretation for. We also have many multilingual staff in our office who speak: German, Russian, Gujarati, Hindi, Mandarin, and Korean. We also encourage patients to bring friends or family members who speak English to help communicate.

We welcome self-pay patients, and if you pay on the same day as your appointment, we offer a 25% discount off of your office visit fee. This does not apply to procedure costs.

For the first visit, we always require that minors are accompanied by their parents or guardian. For visits after that, teenage patients can come to their appointment by themselves as long as their parent or guardian has signed the Minor Consent Form.
