Preparing for your Telehealth Appointment
***PLEASE DO THIS AT LEAST 1 DAY BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT***
Download the APPatient mobile app onto your smartphone or tablet.
The app is available on the App Store for iPhones and the Google Play Store for Android users
Enter “dermarts.ema.md” for Practice URL.
Enter your Username and Password.
Your Username and Password are the same as for your Patient Portal
If you do not know your Patient Portal Username and Password, please visit our Patient Portal Access Page
Once you have logged in, click on the “Appointments” tab at the bottom of the screen.
Click the “Virtual” button at the top of the screen.
Click “Request Virtual Check-In” at the bottom of the screen.
Select your provider.
Follow the prompts by answering questions and uploading photos of your condition
Make sure you reach the end of the prompts where you can click “Submit”
Starting the Telehealth Appointment
Your provider will initiate a video chat within 10 minutes of your appointed time.
Please be in a room with good lighting and without outside noise.
You will receive a notification once the session has started.
