Androgenetic Alopecia
A genetic type of male or female pattern baldness. Men typically have thinning hair to the crown and at the temples. Women typically have thinning hair on the top and crown of their head. We use a variety of treatments for androgenetic alopecia, including Rogaine, finasteride, spironolactone, and oral minoxidil.
Traction Alopecia
This form of hair thinning and hair loss occurs in those who wear their hair in styles & fashions that pull the hair tight, such as braids or pigtails.
Alopecia Areata
This type of hair loss appears as circular bald patches, usually on the head but can also occur on the eyebrows, beard, and body. A variant called Alopecia Universalis results in the total loss of hair, including your eyebrows and body hair. This condition is rare.
