Product of the Month: H.A. Intensifier

SkinCeuticals’ H.A. Intensifier is our favorite product for increasing hydration in your skin. The main ingredient in H.A. Intensifier is hyaluronic acid. You may have heard of hyaluronic acid since it has become a very popular skincare ingredient in recent years. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in your body that does everything from cushioning your joints to wound healing, and in your skin, it plumps and firms your skin by attracting water to it. In fact, hyaluronic acid can hold more than 1000 times its weight in water.

The high hyaluronic acid content in the H.A. Intensifier alone makes it an amazing anti-aging product, but it also has proxylane, a patented anti-aging molecule created by L’Oreal that also attracts and holds water in the skin to increase hydration. Finally, the licorice root and purple rice extract are formulated to preserve the hyaluronic acid content in the skin.
