Gigi graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Emory University. Her nursing experience stems from diverse settings, including surgical and oncology floors and a dermatology clinic. Notably, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she served as a travel nurse in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, gaining invaluable experience. Her pursuit of excellence led her to Georgetown University, where she earned her Master's in Nursing.

Gigi's personal connection to dermatology stems from her family history of skin cancer, including melanoma and Merkel cell carcinoma. This deep-rooted motivation fuels her dedication to skin cancer exams, where she applies the same meticulous care she would offer to a family member. Her empathy extends to teenagers with acne, as she herself experienced severe acne in middle school. Gigi takes joy in helping adolescents build confidence and achieve healthier skin.

When she's not at work, you'll find Gigi enjoying the company of her beloved Portuguese Water Dog, Geoffrey (Geoff), and her husband. They share adventures on hikes and spontaneous activities, such as paragliding off of Poo Poo Point – with video proof to boot!
