Scheduling Guide

To schedule your appointment, start by choosing your visit reason:

  • New Medical Patient - In Person to see a medical provider if you are new to our clinic. Once you book your appointment, please log in to your patient portal and fill out your medical info (see instructions)

  • Returning Medical Patient - In Person to see a medical provider if you have been to our clinic before. Please do not use this visit reason if you are a new patient

  • Virtual - Return Patient Only to see a medical provider via telehealth. Certain conditions are not conducive to Telehealth visits. For a mole check or for hair loss, please book an in-person appointment. To prepare for your appointment, please follow the telehealth instructions.

  • Cosmetic Consult to see our licensed master esthetician, Kari Otte. Cosmetic Consults are divided into two categories: Cosmetic Consult and Cosmetic Consult - Laser Hair Removal. Both of these consults require a $50 deposit that will be applied towards any treatments or products that you purchase. *Please note that Kari does not perform any injections, including neuromodulators and filler*

  • Xeomin is our brand of neuromodulator used for cosmetic enhancements. Our skilled practitioners for this treatment are Valerie Cooper, PA-C, Tiffany Yim, PA-C, and Gigi Rusnak, FNP-C. This consultation requires a deposit of $150 that will be applied towards your procedure. Please call our office to schedule a consultation.

  • Hydrafacials are not currently available.

When booking, please fill out every field and use your full name so that it matches your ID and insurance card.

FAQ

  • If you are a new patient, please bring your ID and insurance card to your appointment. Please also log in to your patient portal to fill out your information (see instructions). If you are having technical difficulties, we can help you fill out your information, but please arrive 20 minutes before your appointment so you have enough time.

  • See the insurance companies that we are in-network with here. Please note that every insurance plan is different, and the best way to check your coverage is to use the Find a Provider tool provided by your insurance. Please also note that certain services are considered cosmetic by insurance and will not be covered.

  • In your appointment reminders, there is a link that you can use to reschedule or cancel your appointment. You will receive these reminder texts/emails, 7 days and 1 day before your appointment. If you do not have this reschedule/cancellation link, you can call our office at 425-753-2918 to reschedule or cancel.

  • If you need to cancel your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance for regular medical visits and cosmetic consultations. If you let us know after that, we charge a $50 late cancellation fee.

For surgical or cosmetic procedures, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations after that will incur a $150 late cancellation fee.

  • Check-in time for new patients is 15 minutes before your appointment time. If you arrive after your appointment time, we will need to reschedule your appointment out of respect to other patients.

For return patients, please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time.

  • We will always do our best to accommodate you, but if you are running more than 10 minutes late, we will need to reschedule your appointment for another time in order to make sure we see all of our other patients on time.

Please always give us a call if you are running late, so we can see if we can accommodate you or help you reschedule your appointment.

Please also note that if you are too late for your appointment or miss your appointment, we also charge a late cancellation fee.

  • If you do not speak English, not to worry! We work with phone interpreters who can interpret for any language. Please call ahead to let us know what language you need interpretation for. We also have many multilingual staff in our office who speak: Gujarati, Hindi, and Mandarin.

  • For the first visit, we always require that minors are accompanied by their parent or guardian. For visits after that, teenage patients can come to their appointment by themselves as long as their parent or guardian has signed the Minor Consent Form.

  • Dr. Master works with a team of three physician associates: Tiffany Yim, PA-C, Gigi Rusnak, FN-P, and Valerie Cooper, PA-C.

Dr. Master is available to see new patients at their initial visit, upon request, if you schedule with a member of his team. At follow up visits, Dr. Master is available as needed. Please note that Dr. Master is occasionally unavailable if he is out of the office. Feel free to call ahead to check if he is available at your appointment time.

  • See our Cosmetic Services page for all the services we offer.

  • We charge a $150 deposit for Cosmetic Consultation with Physician Associates. However, the deposit goes towards any cosmetic procedure you choose to do. Please note that if medical questions are also discussed during the visit, a medical visit may also be billed to your insurance.

Cosmetic consultations with our Master Aestheticians are $50, but this deposit will be applied towards any products or treatments that you purchase!

  • At Dermatology Arts, we want to make sure that your concerns are addressed thoroughly. However, that sometimes means that we cannot address all of your concerns in one visit. For example, when we do a skin cancer exam, it generally takes the full visit time to check all of your moles, and it is difficult for us to also fully address concerns about acne, hair loss, or a rash.

If we are not able to address all of your concerns, we will always work hard to schedule you for another appointment as soon as possible.

  • Similar to the brand Botox, we provide a distinct neuromodulator known as Xeomin for injections. Xeomin offers comparable benefits to Botox, effectively targeting wrinkles and lines by temporarily relaxing muscles. Studies show that the effects of Xeomin show themselves faster and last longer than Botox injections. The results of Xeomin injections can appear in only five days and can last up to six months. Our experienced practitioners can discuss the benefits of Xeomin and how it may suit your individual needs during a consultation.
