The NYTimes recently published an article about oral minoxidil for hair loss, and patients have already been asking us about taking oral minoxidil. Topical minoxidil (Rogaine solution or foam) has been used to treat hair loss since the 1980s, but recently there have been more and more dermatologists prescribing low-dose minoxidil pills for hair loss.
